National Affairs Education Week was themed around the 80th anniversary of victory in the War of Resistance and the World Anti-Fascist War. Through a series of events, students learned about this pivotal historical period and the heroism of those who fought. The activities aimed to instill an appreciation for the nation's resilience, reflect on the importance of peace, honor the sacrifices made, and deepen students' sense of national identity and patriotism.
The week featured a diverse range of engaging activities, including a flag-raising ceremony, a themed photo exhibition, morning reading sessions, a curated library display, film screenings, educational videos on the playground, a bulletin board design competition, and dedicated classroom lessons. It was a highly enriching experience for all students involved.
On September 25, 2025, we were honored to host Mr. Cheung Chi Kong, Hong Kong members of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), who shared insights on the relationship between China's military development and national security. His talk provided students with a deeper understanding of this crucial subject. The National Studies Week activities have significantly enhanced students' sense of national identity, fostering a stronger commitment to their responsibilities towards the nation.
