During the Easter holidays, thirty-three teachers and students from our school traveled to the capital, Beijing, for a five-day, four-night "Beijing History and Culture Study Tour." As the ancient proverb goes, "Traveling ten thousand miles is better than reading ten thousand books." This trip allowed students to visit iconic historical and cultural landmarks firsthand, including the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, the Temple of Heaven, and the Summer Palace. These visits deepened their understanding of our country's long history and further strengthened their sense of national identity.

One of the highlights of the tour was visiting our sister school, Beijing No. 19 Middle School. We were warmly received by their staff and students. Our group toured the campus and the school history museum, gaining insight into the institution’s development and its rich cultural heritage as a century-old school.

Students from both cities attended Mathematics, Physical Education, Chinese, and English classes together. The interaction between teachers and students was enthusiastic; after class, they exchanged thoughts on teaching and learning methods and discussed the differences in their curricula. The atmosphere was both studious and heartwarming—a truly unforgettable experience.

We also visited Beijing Sport University, where an alumna gave us a detailed tour of the campus facilities. This gave students a glimpse into the rigorous cultivation process of the nation's elite athletes. The campus also features motivational messages from national leaders, including President Xi Jinping’s words: "The mission is on our shoulders; the struggle depends on me." Our students were deeply inspired by this, vowing to give back to their alma mater and the country after graduation.

Throughout the study tour, our students remained engaged and dedicated, broadening their horizons and gaining a wealth of knowledge. This journey not only deepened their appreciation of national history and culture but also fostered meaningful exchanges and friendships between students from both regions, making it a profoundly significant experience.
